Word hard, play hard - the right way for you

This is your reminder to follow your inside voice and let yourself leave the past in the past and the future for later.

Hot take: You're not meant to take scheduled breaks.

It's that moment when you feel tired from incessantly obsessing over moving forward in life when you should rest a bit - aka do something that's still stimulating for your brain yet distracts you and hence helps you "rest" from what you were doing before.

Follow your inner voice. Obsess over that project or idea that consumes you, but then have fun when your inner voice whispers about doing something else.

The way we work is we do what we need to, but then when we get tired and feel the need to stop, we don't, so then our brain forcefully moves our attention away by having us repeat a negative habit (like smoking/ vaping) or distractedly think about lunch tomorrow and a meetup with a friend.

Instead, go with the flow and take a break when you feel the need arises. That is the way to gradually teach yourself to 1) live fully in the present moment, and 2) be happy, feel fulfilled, and express yourself authentically at any point in life.

Literally work hard, then play hard. Be fully present in both.
